Hello,
I am affected too, and the workaround QT_IM_MODULE='' is no good for me as it
disables the virtual keyboard (that I use sometimes on a convertible laptop).
I just posted a Qt bug report https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-87088, in
case you want to follow its resolution.
