Bug ID: 427209
Summary: Music pauses on Android phone when Linux laptop is
closed
Product: kdeconnect
Version: unspecified
Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: common
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
This is kinda funny bug, but it has been happening for me for over 6 months
now. When I close the lid on my (Arch linux) laptop with KDE Connect installed,
it pauses the music that I am playing in my Android phone (also with KDE
Connect installed).
My guess the problem has something to do with suspending the laptop, which
sends a signal to Android phone?
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Play music on Android phone (any music / podcast app really)
2. Close the lid on laptop (suspend?)
OBSERVED RESULT
Music on phone pauses
EXPECTED RESULT
Phone should be unaffected
