Having started the work, it looks like a tunnel that becomes longer the more I progress. There are a lot of preparatory changes necessary before Umbrello is in shape for adding the actual feature. This first set of changes will benefit Umbrello regardless of the tagged value feature. I plan to commit it to git master before making the actual feature branch.
