Bug ID: 427413 Summary: Kscreen 2 prevents the screen from entering energy saving mode Product: KScreen Version: 5.19.5 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: deced...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 132190 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=132190&action=edit System log output at the time of suspension/reactivation I have set the display to turn off after 5 minutes, but when the time comes the display turns off and on immediately. In the system log it shows many lines from kscreen (I attach the log output). It is a new installation on a new computer. So I have no previous experience. However, in my "old" computer (it runs the same environment with the same programs but different hardware) it does work. If I unset "KScreen 2" from background services, DPMS works well.
