It's beyond my mind how a release can be LTS with such bug. Many LTS versions actually. And everybody throws their efforts in many insignificant bugs or extras, instead of looking at the real serious bugs like this bug. And this bug too: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420903 The desktop is the face of the Desktop Environment, hence these bugs should be treated with extra high proirity. Don't make users feel guilty for reporting your bugs.
