Although I didn't have the "removable devices" section hidden (I always have 3 devices there, one of which is a second hard drive), I did have "show HIDDEN devices" unchecked in the dolphin menu. For some reason, this was hidden... After changing this setting, I unhid the card (not sure how it was hidden to begin with or if this was some sort of system default), and we appear to be good to go.
