            Bug ID: 428838
Summary: Renaming Dolphin to Comply with Standard Shortcut
           Product: dolphin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: All
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: kd...@mailna.in
                CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
There is a standard for shortcut (which is the default on KDE): Win+E which
opens file Explorer and KDE has a confusing name for file Explorer which starts
with D (D as in '(show) Desktop'). There should be a change and Dolphin should
be renamed to Explorer as not to confuse users and to conform to well
established standards (ie. shortcut).

Expected result:
1. Renaming Dolphin to Explorer as Dolphin is not a standard name and confuses
users
2. Keeping the standard shortcut of Win+E (E as in Explorer, for file
Explorer), where KDE already conforms to this standard shorcut.
3. Win+E will open (file) Explorer and this will not confuse users by opening
some "aquapark feeding time software thing" named Dolphin.
