--- Comment #7 from kevkear...@gmail.com --- I believe that the experimental OpenGL FakeKMS option is default in this version of raspberry pi OS. I did however try both options, and got roughly the same result. Open GL ends up being a hard hang that can only be recovered with a REISUB, or hard poweroff.
