I used Settings->Manage Profile->default and "edit"->Mouse->Miscellaneous->uncheck default is the checked profile (and the only visible profile), but apparently not the current profile. When I now tried Setting->Edit current profile it appears an unvisible profile is the current, and when I modify the setting it works.
