Hi, this comes up every now and then, but our output view is not a terminal
emulator in a lot of ways. It's just an output view. If you need an actual
terminal emulator, use one, e.g. by using the "compiled binary" run
configuration and ticking "use external terminal", then set /usr/bin/python as
the binary and your script as the argument.

I think adding input functionality to the KDevelop output view is out of scope,
it also seems like a very niche feature. If anything, it would be cool to have
"Use external terminal" available for the script launcher.
