            Bug ID: 430542
           Summary: inconsistent window snapping
           Product: kwin
           Version: 5.20.4
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: kol...@aon.at
  Target Milestone: ---

On a single screen setup, a window is snapped at the left and right side so
that the window border lies outside of the screen (which is bad since I no
longer can resize the window smaller from the border not being visible).
The inconsistency is that snapping to the bottom (in my case a desktop panel)
includes the window border (still visible when snapped).

On a dual screen setup, the snapping to the right side of the left screen
suddenly snaps _including_ the window border (visible after snap),
and snapping to the bottom of the second screen (no panel) suddenly does not
include the window border (border not visible when snapped).

Why not simply snap everywhere inclucding the window border?
