The problem is also unknown and has never been reported. I could imagine the
plugins not loading or being disabled. AntiVirus programs can prevent plugins
from loading, remember digiKam is an unknown program for many of these
programs. The log file from the Microsoft program DebugView could help as
described here (don't forget to set the environment variable):
