            Bug ID: 432303
Summary: Knocking on rooms at whereby.com fails: DOMException:
The fetching process for the media resource was
aborted by the user agent at the user's request.
           Product: plasma-browser-integration
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Firefox
          Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de
          Reporter: devuran...@gmx.net
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

When knocking on a room in Whereby, when I press the "Knock" button, I see the
message "Unable to start camera to take picture" in the preview that shows my
live camera feed. Instead it should progress to the waiting screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Install "Plasma browser integration" add-on into Firefox
2. Try to join a Whereby room that is locked
   - See the "This room is locked" screen, as usual.
   - The camera is active and you can see yourself in the preview in Whereby,
as usual.
3. Press the "Knock" button

OBSERVED RESULT

I see the message "Unable to start camera to take picture" in the preview that
still shows my live camera feed.

In the browser console I see the error `DOMException: The fetching process for
the media resource was aborted by the user agent at the user's request.`

EXPECTED RESULT

Whereby progresses to the usual waiting screen and the "Knock" button turns
into "Cancel".

WORKAROUND

1. Browse to a knock screen on whereby.com
2. Click the "Plasma browser integration" icon in the add-on icon bar
3. Untick "whereby.com" in "Enable media controls on"

Whereby support is aware of this workaround and in fact suggested it to me
based on experience of other users who encountered the problem before me.
