The old launcher is available for download at https://store.kde.org/p/1468103/,
and will remain there. It's not gonna die.
I can appreciate that you're frustrated with the new one, but insulting the
software and the decisions behind its development is not a productive way to
start a discussion. Closing this. Please feel free to file new bug reports,
with one specific actionable complaint per bug report. See
