the "pk" in "plasma-pk-updates stands for "PackageKit". PackageKit does not
include Flatpak stuff; it only shows you information about distro package
updates. If you want to be notified of Flatpak stuff, I would recommend
uninstalling plasma-pk-updates and using Discover for your update needs, as it
notifies about distro package updates as well as Flatpak updates.
