Except, I couldn't manage to re-enable laptop screen while logged to Wayland session, because kwin always crashes and leaves black screen with only mouse cursor visible. To enable the screen, it's necessary to log in to Xorg. Using "systemctl suspend" or clicking the "sleep" button are the only workarounds I've found so far.
