--- Comment #3 from prash <prash.n....@gmail.com> --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Are you saying that it gets autostarted when you're in an LXQt session too? Yes, it gets autostarted in LXQt too. > Do any other KDE processes get autostarted, or just kglobalaccel? I logged in a brand new login id called "ethan" and ran "pgrep -aU ethan > ethan-procs.txt". This user has no customized configuration. I have pasted the contents below. The summary is that kdeconnect and kwallet autostart too, but I don't mind them. KWallet does not get in my way, so I don't care about it autostarting, and kdeconnect is something I use in LXQt, so I'm happy with it autostarting. To the LXQt session, kglobalaccel5 and krunner are the harmful processes. kactivitymanagerd and baloorunner are minor annoyances in LXQt too, but they don't get in the way of the LXQt session, they only consume some RAM. Incidentally, krunner, kactivitymanagerd and baloorunner don't autostart in my regular login (not ethan), so they can probably be controlled via the LXQt or Plasma configuration. % cat ethan-procs.txt 1057 /usr/lib/systemd/systemd --user 1058 (sd-pam) 1068 /usr/bin/kwalletd5 --pam-login 7 8 1069 lxqt-session 1074 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --session --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation --syslog-only 1102 /usr/bin/openbox --config-file /home/ethan/.config/openbox/lxqt-rc.xml 1107 /usr/bin/kaccess 1108 /usr/bin/pcmanfm-qt --desktop --profile=lxqt 1109 /usr/bin/lxqt-globalkeysd 1110 /usr/bin/lxqt-notificationd 1111 /usr/bin/lxqt-panel 1112 /usr/bin/lxqt-policykit-agent 1113 /usr/bin/lxqt-runner 1116 /usr/bin/xscreensaver -no-splash 1118 /usr/bin/nm-applet 1121 /usr/lib/kdeconnectd 1122 xscreensaver-systemd 1124 /usr/bin/kgpg 1137 /usr/bin/kglobalaccel5 1145 /usr/lib/dconf-service 1152 /usr/lib/at-spi-bus-launcher 1158 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --config-file=/usr/share/defaults/at-spi2/accessibility.conf --nofork --print-address 3 1173 /usr/lib/at-spi2-registryd --use-gnome-session 1277 /usr/bin/pipewire-pulse 1282 /usr/bin/pipewire 1283 /usr/bin/pipewire-media-session 1315 /usr/bin/lxqt-powermanagement 1350 /usr/bin/gpg-agent --supervised 1362 /usr/bin/krunner 1374 /usr/lib/kactivitymanagerd 1393 /usr/lib/baloorunner 1397 kdeinit5: Running... 1398 /usr/lib/kf5/klauncher --fd=8 1403 /usr/bin/qps 1419 /usr/bin/kitty 1427 /bin/bash -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
