            Bug ID: 436470
Summary: Pasting file to deleted folder in Dolphin doesn't
                    trigger any action
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I leave a folder open in a Dolphin window and then delete that folder, when
I try to paste a file there, it will not copy it and will not show any error
message either.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new folder somewhere.
2. Open that folder in Dolphin.
3. In a different Dolphin window, delete the folder that was just created and
which is still opened.
4. Try to copy-paste some file to the recently-deleted folder which is still
open in another Dolphin window, through Dolphin's own copy-paste
functionalities.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens, and no indication of what is wrong is shown.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should show an error message saying that the destination folder no longer
exists, and offer to create it right there in order to paste the file.

Linux/KDE Plasma:
