Bug ID: 436732 Summary: File context menu opens always on first connected workspace Product: frameworks-kwindowsystem Version: 5.81.0 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: marcel.r...@live.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY As of the recent stable update whenever I try to open a context menu for a file it gets opened on the first available "screen" on the left hand side. Other programs as well as the desktop context menu itself do still work. Only file context menus are broken. It seems like the position calculation is still correct: A file on the top-right of Monitor 2 (RHS) will cause the context menu to open at the top-right as well but on Monitor 1 (LHS) instead of Monitor 2 (RHS). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect a second monitor 2. Have the right hand monitor be "Folder view" instead of "Desktop" 3. Try opening a file context menu (right click a file) OBSERVED RESULT Context menu opens on the left hand monitor but retains the correct position for the context menu relative to the display itself. EXPECTED RESULT Context menu opens at cursor position SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: ArchLinux KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION None -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
