Maybe the "subvolid" that findmnt gives you is better:

    findmnt -T testfile.txt

reports the mount point, the filesystem type and a "subvolid" (in the case of
BTRFS).

It seems that "subvolid" is stable. It is possible to change it but it doesn't
change on it's own (as far as I can tell...)
