That level of vitriol, like so much of this thread, is totally uncalled for and grossly dis-repectful to the thousands of developers and contributors to KDE. You may, at this time, in your jurisdiction, have the freedom to 'speak your mind', just as those you want to develop a feature to your want (not "need") have the freedom not to. You also have the freedom to pay a developer(s) to write (and contribute) said feature(s), to learn C++/Qt/Plasma and develop yourself, and/or maintain a legacy version of KDE.
