If you are talking about seeing a mount option for a device that was just "ejected", then that is an old behavior - IIRC Plasma always ignored drives that were just ejected: you have to physically disconnect it and reconnect for it to show again. This report is that for SD cards, even taking them out of the slot and putting them back it, won't show the mount option.
