Bug ID: 365745 Summary: AdobeRGB Input Profile cannot be found or used Product: digikam Version: 5.0.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: ColorManagement Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org Reporter: wilderbe...@linuxmail.org RAW CR2 files from a Canon camera are created using AdobeRGB colour. To correctly interpret the information in the files, the appropriate input profile needs to be made available to Digikam and selected in the Colour Management section. Despite downloading ICC (International Colour Consortium) profiles and setting Digikam to the directory, the compatible with AdobeRGB.icc is not visible or available for interpreting the RAW files. Other ICC profiles are available though. ICC profiles can be downloaded following instructions here: https://scottlinux.com/2010/10/31/install-adobe-icc-profiles-in-linux/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Acquire ICC files: https://scottlinux.com/2010/10/31/install-adobe-icc-profiles-in-linux/ 2. Digikam Settings: Colour Management, Set Input Profile Locations, 3. Digikam Settings: Colour Management, Set Input Profile Actual Results: In the drop down menu which displays available Input Profiles, AdobeRGB is not listed. Expected Results: It is expected that Compatible with AdobeRGB is listed in the drop down menu. AdobeRGB - has brand name restrictions Compatible with AdobeRGB - has the same information, but does not infringe brand name and is to be preferred as it is free software. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
