Bug ID: 441666 Summary: Operations on a Skrooge file with many movements take some time to complete Product: skrooge Version: 2.25.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: guillaume.deb...@gmail.com Reporter: x...@email.it CC: steph...@mankowski.fr Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY First of all thank you for your work, I've been using Skrooge for the last 10+ years and I'm deeply grateful for it. Because I've been using it for that long I have many accounts (~40) and movements (~5000) saved in my Skrooge file, which I all point after I check and confirm them. The problem is that every time I add a new movement it takes a little bit to recalculate the balance that it's shown in the status bar, and when I point the movement everything freezes for a little bit until it completes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create many movements & accounts 2. Check the speed of adding new movements / updating them / pointing OBSERVED RESULT It appears to slow down with many movements EXPECTED RESULT It should be snappier :) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch 5.13.12 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85 Qt Version: 5.15.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
