Have you seen the "Identify outputs" function (the little "i" in the
lower-right corner)?
If so: Why does this not solve your problem?
The reason why I'm asking is that I don't see how "DP1-2" should be useful
information to many users, so I'd like to see if we can solve the problem of
having multiple monitors of the same model in a better way.
