Bug ID: 444477 Summary: Resize application launcher Product: plasmashell Version: 5.23.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff) Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: m...@iyanmv.com CC: mikel5...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY I don't know how to resize the application launcher to a custom size, or even to go back to the default size. I learned this the hard way. By mistake I pressed the shortcut to maximize windows while the launcher was open, and it got resized to use all the screen. I can use other shortcuts like half screen or a third of the screen (I'm using Mudeer for these extra shortcuts), but none of them are the default size. I think it would be useful to be be able to resize the launcher with the mouse. If I remember correctly, with the previous default launcher it was possible to do that by pressing some key (Alt?) while dragging the menu with the mouse. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Kickoff 2. Press the maximize shortcut (Meta + PgUp by default) OBSERVED RESULT Application launcher is maximized and it doesn't go back to its "normal" size even after closing it EXPECTED RESULT I don't know if the menu should behave as a normal window. But if this is the intended behavior, then it should be also as easy to resize the launcher as any other window.
