In the latest Nate's blog post (https://pointieststick.com/2021/10/22/this-week-in-kde-fingerprint-reader-and-nvidia-gbm-support) he's announcing Plasma 5.24 will finally be compatible with fingerprint devices. As a mainly desktop computers user, it's hard to have such a device, while I always carry with me my phone.
