I didn't find in kdenlive's effects. 
On gimp, i go on "filters --> shadow and light --> drop shadow"
(or something like that, i use it in french :/

The only way i found in kdenlive is to add a transition between the picture and
another picture in png where i got only shadow. 

So, i need 8 tracks to "shadow" 4 pics

i make vidéos like you can see on my website http://www.etcomment.fr
