I agree it would be simple but it may also cause other bugs because it is
something that is unexpected from a user who uses app image files and wants to
have them integrated into my desktop. The integration is provided from an
optional daemon and not automatic.

Not having the extension properly capitalized has already caused two tickets
(one here and one on the daemon) and I'm sure more will happen in the future.
