The same problem happened to me after upgrading to framework 5.89 and after
Plasma crashed due to bug #447925 then Meta key stopped being able to trigger
Kickoff, the weird thing is that I cannot set it again in Kickoff settings and
someone on Reddit proposed to set there to Meta+F1 and magically Meta (without
F1) can again invoke Kickoff launcher !
