Setup digiKam to point to the right place where database files are located. There is also the main configuration file located in your home directory : /home/_YOU_/.config/digikamrc And the XML data files customized by you : /home/_YOU_/.local/share/digikam About collection UUID stored in a new disk, you will need to edit/update the identifier in collection setup page.
