FWIW we support GL natively so going via WebGL and a WebView adds a lot of
overhead that could be avoided by just shoving your shader in a ShaderEffect
item.

I meant to add that to Plasma for other performance reasons. Apparently I never
pushed it. I'll do that and that might happen to fix this.
