Summary: kscreen fails to set display scale twice in sequence
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.23.90
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED

          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_kscreen
          Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: bugsefor...@gmx.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Display Configuration KCM
2. use the slider to change display scale from 100% to 125%
3. click on 'Apply' button (dialog to keep/revert the change shows up, click on
'Keep' button)
4. use the slider to change display scale from 125% to 100%
5. click on 'Apply' button (display scale 100% is applied to my screen but no
dialog shows up this time)

OBSERVED RESULT
display scale is reverted to 125% 15 seconds after the last step and the KCM
displays "Display configuration reverted." inline message.

changes done in Display Configuration KCM should always be correctly applied
