STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enter some text in the search field
2. Select all text in the search box (press Ctrl+A)
3. Press Del to delete selected text
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.
EXPECTED RESULT
The selected text is deleted.
