--- Comment #29 from Brian Kaye <b...@unb.ca> --- Wondered what programs were accessing .config/session files. 1. added audit rule with auditctl -w /home/******/.config/session -K SESSION 2. restarted the auditd daemon 3. started applications in a couple of desktops 4. emptied /var/log/audit/audit.log 5. cleared files in .config/session 6. logout/login 7. windows did not open in correct desktops 8 . in a konsole window ran ausearch -k SESSION --format text There are a number of applications which are involved, kwin_x11, systemsettings5, konsole (looking at konsole files in.config/session More confused.
