Hy <hymu...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG --- Comment #1 from Hy <hymu...@gmail.com> --- Jean-Claude, Thanks for the suggestions. Re a trash can: I'm ok with the user simply deleting the files from the directory using standard operating system utilities (removing them from ~/.local/share/kstars/analyze on Linux). Re splitting up analyze sessions: If it's a single night's session, and you want to split it up among targets, I'd say that this feature request is a "nice to have" but likely will never reach the point where I will get to it--of course I wouldn't stop some other contributor who wanted to get involved from addressing it, e.g. you ;) One can work around the issue pretty easily by zooming in to the right job. There is another use case in the near future though. What if one has an observatory that stays online for a long time, running just one KStars instance for months? I think that would be an interesting case. One would have issues with a very long Analyze log (and a very long KStars log too). If I had such an observatory, then I'd probably address it. Again, though, I think this is a feature that only a few folks would need and that needs a motivated developer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
