SUMMARY
I am writing this feature request to ask whether or not the window resize
effect will be brought back on X11. It was removed in the following commit:
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/81f9da17fd9f367883b1fca02c7eb3a3ebaa1c34
The commiter mentions that the removal had something to do with the feature
being problematic on Wayland. On X11 this worked like a charm in my experience
however, making a substantial difference in performance.
