Gianluca <coviello...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version|7.5.0 |7.4.0 Platform|Ubuntu Packages |Appimage CC| |coviello...@gmail.com --- Comment #14 from Gianluca <coviello...@gmail.com> --- I hereby add some information on this bug as I have verified it too. The steps I did: - group two photos by filename (I group the JPG and the RAW file using the JPG as front photo) - open the front photo - edit it with Digikam's internal editor - Save changes (without creating a new version) What happens is: - a new "versioned" JPG file is created in the backing folder - this file is displayed in Digikam - this file is ungrouped - the original two files (JPG and RAW) are lost in Digikam (but still exist in the backing folder) - the number of hidden items in Digikam's album increases by two (the two files originally in the group, I assume) Nice thing is, if inside Digikam you open the file in GIMP, modify the file in GIMP and then overwrite the original file, then everything is fine and you get: - two files in the backing folder - two grouped files in Digikam Cheers, Gianluca -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
