I had same problem a week or two ago. All Activities settings were gone: no
individual wallpapers, all apps in one default Activity and no possibility to
switch between them, though they are were present in System Settings.
And the problem with apps unpredictably jumping from one activity to another
after poweroff and poweron I have all the time.
It's a fresh installed Kubuntu 22.04.
