            Bug ID: 455314
Summary: Icons-only Task Manager resets placement after
                    re-plugging monitors
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.24.4
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: koncek.mar...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I am using a laptop and most of the time I am using 2-monitor setup with my
primary monitor being the right one. When I disconnect the monitors and
reconnect them, then my Icons-only Task Manager shows up on the left monitor
and I have to drag it manually each time to the right.

I believe, the task manager should be reset to the monitor that is set as
primary and not the leftmost one.
I don't know how this would work in Wayland where there is no option to set
primary monitor.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux KDE Plasma
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
