I also have the issue on Ubuntu 22.04 with Plasma 5.24.4, Kernel
5.15.0-41-generic .
The flavor of it that I am seeing is that it happens only some times. The times
when it works is when I reboot my laptop on battery power. I haven't yet found
all cases that cause it to fail, but it definitely does in some cases (and then
a reboot on battery is fine).
