Bug ID: 456785 Summary: [Wayland] "Show Network QRCode" button in plasma-nm displays said QRCode under the network plasmoid Product: plasma-nm Version: 5.25.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: applet Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com Reporter: vinicius.vsc...@outlook.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 150664 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=150664&action=edit Screenshot of the QRCode under the plasmoid. SUMMARY I'd like to report a possible minor regression in the Wayland session of Plasma, specifically regarding the Network Plasmoid. When clicking the "Show Network QRCode" button, said QRCode is displayed under the Wifi Network plasmoid, instead of above it. It seems that this bug was spotted and fixed back in 2019 when the feature was created, see https://phabricator.kde.org/D22457?id=61835, but rather it was either partially reintroduced, or never vanished completely to start with. It also seems to be Wayland specific, since I cannot reproduce it in an X session. Also, I've discussed this bug with someone else in www.reddit.com and they haven't been able to reproduce, so I cannot guarantee the steps to reproduce will work. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Log In to a Wayland Session 2. Open the Network Plasmoid 3. Click in an already connected WiFi network 4. Click "Show Network QRCode" OBSERVED RESULT Resulting QRCode is shown below the plasmoid EXPECTED RESULT Resulting QRCode should be above the plasmoid (and in general any obstruction) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Kernel Version: 5.18.11-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx Memory: 5.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics Manufacturer: Acer Product Name: Aspire A315-23 System Version: V1.18 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION System Locale is set to pt_BR.UTF-8 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
