i) This is in principle already the case, zooming in on the view that all
coordinates are recorded (user request).
You can turn off thumbnails under the map and use it to show the balloons.
A deeper zoom is not possible, compare the view with openstreetmap.org.
ii) Thumbnails can be toggled on and off.
iii) What do you mean by "go to"? Go to the image?
iv) If the Album/Tag/Date selection does not change, the map already remains at
the last position and zoom level.
Which digiKam version are you currently using?
