I DIDN'T request to keep the box UNCHECKED EVERY TIME. My intention was to uncheck it THE FIRST TIME when we use that dialogue on a FRESHLY installed Krita. Krita remembers that option so they can keep it checked if they like. My opinion is: just don't guide unknowing people into the trap. Artists are not part of the problem. Most non-tech artists will never change default settings. They are unlikely to notice the color shift problem. Even if they do noticed, they are unlikely to link the problem with that checkbox.
