            Bug ID: 457979
Summary: Disable the long-clicking functionality to trigger
                    "Edit Mode" on desktop
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: master
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Touchpad
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: koea...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
There is a mouse / touchpad gesture that lets me trigger this if I simply click
and hold for no more than a second. Sometimes, I have a pen-based graphics
tablet that lets me press and hold for more than a second. This feature gets
annoying when I'm not intentionally trying to trigger this function or anything
else requiring a long-click.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSUSE 15.4 Leap
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.4

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'd really like some way to turn this off, because after I had a mailing list
in the KDE community we later figured out this was likely hardcoded and a part
of plasma5-mobile. There should be some way to turn this off at least, given
I'm always in a desktop and it should be more convenient to cater to
desktop-only users like me. I already have Alt + D and the context menu for my
right click to enter edit mode, why would I need a third shortcut that hinders
my ability to use things like my graphics tablet?
