            Bug ID: 458123
Summary: Volume effect can't adjust volume when not on
                    keyframe, even when keyframes disabled
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 22.04.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Other
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Effects & Transitions
          Assignee: vpi...@kde.org
          Reporter: mashkal2...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Adjusting volume of a clip with the volume effect is not possible when a
keyframe is not selected, even when keyframes are disabled for the effect. This
is particularly annoying when the effect is copy-pasted from another clip

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Place clip on timeline
2. Apply effect volume (keyframable)
3. move playhead off 1st keyframe
4. create new keyframe
5. move playhead off either keyframe
6. disable keyframing for the effect

OBSERVED RESULT
adjusting volume with the slider is impossible until playhead is moved onto
keyframe

EXPECTED RESULT
volume is adjusted.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This would require keyframes to be dealt with somehow. Maybe there could be a
warning if the volume keyframes are not at the same level, and if the user
accepts, then the keyframes get deleted.
