Bug ID: 458922 Summary: Brushes, that use stamps with the "Preserve alpha channel" option on, will not be able to be selected and act as any previously selected brush with alpha preservation off. Product: krita Version: 5.1.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Brush Engine/Bristle Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: lazyn...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a stamp with an empty background with the "Preserve alpha channel" option on. 2. Select a brush's "Brush tip" as predefined, select the stamp and save the brush. 3. Restart Krita. 4. Try to use the brush. OBSERVED RESULT The brush will not do anything unless a previous brush has been selected that does not have a brush tip with alpha preservation on, in which it will act as that brush. Right clicking or selecting the brush through the brush editor will still show as the previously selected brush. EXPECTED RESULT The brush works like any other brush, just with the stamp in use.
