--- Comment #4 from Oded Arbel <o...@geek.co.il> --- I can reproduce the crash by going to ~/.local/share/kate/anonymous.katesession , into the [Plugin:katefilebrowserplugin:MainWindow:0] section and setting the "location" field to a non-existing directory. This often happens in the course of a normal work day for me, where I edit a file somewhere with kate and later the directory containing that file gets deleted.
