Hi farid,

thanks for the reply - but that would be a showstopper/worst case for my work
under Linux: I'm transferring old Super-8-films to DVD for my customers, and
therefor I need to view in realtime what's going on.
As Andrew mentioned, Kino is not maintained anymore and so the only workaround
at the moment is dvgrab. But with this I can not see in realtime what is
recorded.

Do you have another idea what program to use for that task? The last solution
would be to use Windows ...
