So it's flippant between accounts, that doesn't mean the account has nothing to
do with it, but that it does!  It means that display settings for each account
are saved per account, and whatever mechanism is saving them is screwing up.  I
also have what I call a "Maintenance account" and I too logged into it to see
if the problem was with it too, and it worked fine.  So just maybe if I log
back into it, it too is missing a monitor, and when I go back to this one I
will have two monitors again.  If so then the developers may get a better idea
where to look, as something about the login process may have something to do
with it, or effect whatever the issue is.
